We are looking for a Software Development Engineer who is independent, flexible, innovative, self-directed, eager to learn and understand how to architect, design and write high-performance, highly-available, and maintainable software.



Requirements:

* Strong understanding of CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms and programming languages)

* Knowledge and experience in Java or C++.

* Firsthand experience developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications in a 24/7 environment.

* Experience in day-to-day development on Linux platform. Familiarity with Java IDEs like Netbeans or Eclipse a plus.

* Understanding of performance/space tradeoffs and browser compatibility issues.

* Understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) and Design Patterns.

* A Masters or a Bachelors degree in Computer Science with minimum 2 years of development experience
* Proven record of working through entire Software Development Lifecycle.

* Excellent debugging skills and an attitude of enthusiastically supporting the customers who use our software are a must.

* Solid communication skills and the ability to work in a team and with internal/external customers is critical.
