Job Description


• Improve the quality and coverage of existing documentation.
• Develop and maintain new documentation, including product overviews, step-by-step how-to procedures, troubleshooting information and best practices.
• Contribute to the overall structure of the documentation set.


Skills


Education Qualification: BSc in Computer Science or other related field
• At least 3 years of experience in technical writing, with experience in developing and maintaining documentation in a team-based environment.


• Ability to understand technology, demonstrated either by an engineering degree, or years of engineering experience, or previous experience as a writer of high-quality technical documentation.


• Technical experience in the following areas is a plus:


Windows/Unix Systems Administration expertise
Oracle, SQL, and Informix databases
SAN/NAS technologies, EMC & Compaq storage products
Other industry leading storage hardware and tape libraries
• Strong writing skills with experience in writing and maintaining web-based documentation.
• Experience with FrontPage, HTML, Adobe Acrobat and source control software is an additional plus.
